The main hall is situated upstairs, this is the largest room, it measures approx 12m x 10m with a beech wood floor. There is a large raised stage designed for theatrical performances which has a proscenium arch, curtains and a full width extended apron. The room has a bar area, hot and cold water together with hot drink making facilities and refrigeration.

 
Also upstairs is a fully equipped catering kitchen, completely refitted in December 2015, with two electric cookers a microwave and refrigerator, pots and pans plus eighty four place settings of cutlery and crockery.
 
 
 
The main hall is a light and airy room with good AV facilities, used for meetings by, among others, The Exmoor National Park, The Exmoor Society and Local Councils. The hall has a modern sound system together with a large HD projector capable of showing feature films on its 6m x 3m screen.  PC attachment is provided to enable presentations in this large format.
 
 
The hall is in regular use and is very suitable for Ballroom Dancing,  Parties, Weddings, Children's Parties, Judo, Tae-Qwan-Do and Dancing classes.
  
Fire Regulations tie us to 140 people seated, 127 for dancing,70 when seating is provided around tables and 73 for holding a dance when seating is provided at tables. There are sufficient new, upholstered chairs and large folding tables to meet the numbers allowed.
     
There is a lift to carry disabled people on to this floor where there is a disabled toilet.
